Mitä tarkoittaa pelaaminen suomalaisessa jalkapalloseurassa?

Lapsesi liittyessä pelaamaan jalkapallojoukkueeseen, hän liittyy samalla myös jalkapalloseuraan. Seuratoiminta Suomessa on yhdistystoimintaa, jota säätelee yhdistyslaki. Lapsesi liittyessä jalkapalloseuraan tuleen hänestä yhdistyksen jäsen. Seuraan pelaajaksi liitytään seuran omilla verkkosivuilla.

Seuran työntekijät

Jalkapalloseuran työntekijät ovat joukkueiden apuna. He järjestävät joukkueille esimerkiksi erilaisia tapahtumia. Yhdistyslain mukaan jalkapalloseuralla tulee olla hallitus. Seurassa työskentelee usein toiminnanjohtaja, joka vastaa seuran johtamisesta. Usein jalkapalloseuralla on toiminnanjohtajan lisäksi ainakin yksi työntekijä, joka auttaa toiminnanjohtajaa erilaisissa tehtävissä.

Harjoitukset, pelit ja turnaukset

Jokaisella jalkapallojoukkueella on viikoittain jalkapalloharjoitukset. Viikoittaisten jalkapalloharjoituksien lisäksi joukkueella voi olla pelejä sekä turnauksia. Joukkueen tapahtumat (harjoitukset, pelit, turnaukset ja muut tapahtumat) löytyvät joukkueen tapahtumakalenterista. Joukkueen tapahtumakalenteri löytyy joukkueen nettisivulta.

Varusteet

Jokaisella joukkueella sekä jalkapalloseuralla on säännöt siitä, minkälaisissa vaatteissa harjoituksissa harjoitellaan. Pelaajalla olisi hyvä kuitenkin tulla harjoituksiin aina seuraavissa varusteissa;

• Urheilullinen vaatetus
• Juomapullo
• Säärisuojat
• Jalkapallokengät
• Oma pallo

Jokaisella joukkueella on myös peliasu, jota käytetään kaikissa joukkueen otteluissa ja turnauksissa. Joukkue voi vaatia pelaajaa hankkimaan myös muita joukkueelle yhteisiä vaatteita, jotka pelaajan tulee ostaa. Kun pelaaja liittyy joukkueeseen, joukkueenjohtaja kertoo, mitä varusteita pelaajan tulee hankkia.

Seuramaksu

Jalkapallojoukkueeseen liityttäessä maksetaan joka vuosi seuralle seuramaksu. Se sisältää jäsenmaksun ja sillä katetaan muun muassa kaikkien toimihenkilöiden koulutukset ja seuran työntekijöiden tuki joukkueelle. Seura voi järjestää myös jäsenilleen (eli pääasiassa pelaajille) erilaisia tapahtumia ja toimintoja kuten taitokoulu, jalkapalloleiri tai seuran päättäjäisjuhlat

Pelipassi ja vakuutus

Pelaajalla on oltava pelipassi ja vakuutus. Pelaaja saa edustusoikeuden seuraan, kun pelipassi on maksettu. Edustusoikeus tarkoittaa sitä, että pelaaja saa pelata virallisissa otteluissa ja turnauksissa joukkueen kanssa. Pelipassin (lisenssi) oston yhteydessä hankitaan myös vakuutus, joka kattaa matkan harjoituksiin ja peleihin.

Talkootyö

Haluamme, että kaikilla lapsilla on mahdollisuus harrastaa. Tämän vuoksi joukkueessa tehdään talkootöitä, joihin kaikkien vanhempien toivotaan osallistuvan. Talkootyö tarkoitta yhdessä tehtävää työtä, josta koko joukkue saa rahaa. Talkookorvausten avulla joukkueen kuukausimaksut pysyvät kohtuullisina. Talkootyötä on paljon erilaista, mutta se voi olla esimerkiksi myyjäiset tai erilaisten tuotteiden myyntiä.

Joukkueen kuukausimaksu

Joukkueen kuukausimaksu eli toimintamaksu maksetaan suoraan joukkueelle. Se voi olla jokaisessa joukkueessa eri suuruinen. Joukkueen kuukausimaksuilla katetaan harjoitusolosuhteet, turnausmaksut, valmentajien palkat sekä muut joukkueen toimintaan kuuluvat kulut.

Viranomaisyhteistyö – Mistä apua?

Tukea omalta kunnalta

Voit saada apua kunnasta, jossa asut. Oman kuntasi tuista ja palveluista saat tietoa kunnan verkkosivuilta tai sosiaalitoimistosta. Kunnan tukia ovat esimerkiksi täydentävä tai ehkäisevä toimeentulotuki.

Tukea FC Kontulta tai yhdistyksiltä

FC Kontulla on oma tukirahasto. Tukirahaston tavoitteena on tukea seuran vähävaraisia pelaajia. Pelaajan huoltaja voi kysyä tukirahastosta joukkueenjohtajalta. On myös olemassa erilaisia yhdistyksiä, jotka tukevat lasten liikuntaharrastuksia. Yksi näistä on SOS Lapsikylän Unelmista Totta.

Erityistilanteet

Haluan lopettaa jalkapallo harrastuksen

Jos pelaaja haluaa lopettaa jalkapallon harrastamisen, vanhemman tulee ilmoittaa siitä sähköpostitse joukkueenjohtajalle. Jos joukkueella on sääntöjä liittyen lopettamiseen, niitä on noudatettava. Kaikki avoimet maksut tulee maksaa ennen lopettamista. Seuran jäsen- ja toimintamaksua ei palauteta, jos pelaaja lopettaa.

Pitkäaikainen sairastuminen tai loukkaantuminen

Jos pelaaja loukkaantuu ja joutuu olla pitkään pois harjoituksista, voi erityistilanteissa saada vapautuksen kuukausimaksuista. Näistä pitää kuitenkin aina sopia erikseen joukkueenjohtajan kanssa. Joukkueilla voi olla erilaisia sääntöjä, ja tämän takia on tärkeää osallistua vanhempainiltaan.

Football Club Activity Guide

What does it mean to play in a Finnish football club?

When your child joins a football team, they also join a football club. In Finland football activity is an association which means that it is regulated by Finnish Associations Act. When your child joins a football club they become part of the association. To become a player in the football club you have to register on the football club’s own website.

Football club’s employees

Football club’s employees are hired to help the teams. They for example, arrange various events for the teams. According to the Finnish Associations Act the football club must have an executive board. Usually there is an executive director that is responsible for managing the football club. It is common that the football club has at least one employee in addition to the executive director. They typically help the executive director with different duties.

Practice, games and tournaments

Every football team has weekly football practice. In addition to the weekly football practice the teams might have games and tournaments. The team’s events (practice, games, tournaments and other events) are found from the team’s event calendar. The team’s event calendar is found on the team’s website.

Football equipment

Every team and also the football club have their own rules about the equipment and clothes that are used in the practice. It would be good for the player to have always the following equipment in football practice.

• Athletic clothing

• Water bottle

• Shin guards

• Cleats (football shoes)

• Own football

Every team has also their own football uniform that is used in all team’s games and tournaments. The team can also require the player to acquire other team clothing that the player needs to buy. When the player registers to the team the team leader tells the player what football gear the player is supposed to get.

The different roles of team members

The role of parents in club activities and the team

Club fee

When you register for the football team you are required to pay a club fee annually. The club fee contains the membership fee, and it is for example used to cover the costs of team employee training and the football club employees’ support for the team. The football club can arrange also for its members (mainly for the players) various events and functions such as a skill school, a football camp or a club end-of-season party.

Player pass and insurance

The player must have a player pass and insurance. The player gets the right to compete. The player gets the right to represent the football club when the player pass is paid. The right to represent means that the player can play in the official games and tournaments with the team. Upon purchasing the player pass (license) you are also supposed to get insurance that covers travelling to the practice and games.

Volunteer work

We want every child to have an opportunity to have a hobby. Because of this there is volunteer work in the team where the parents are encouraged to take part. Volunteer work means work that is pursued together from which the whole team gets money. With the help of volunteer compensation, the teams’ monthly fees stay reasonable. There are a lot of different volunteer work, but it can be for example bake sale or selling different kinds of products.

The team’s monthly fee

The team’s monthly fee or in other words participation fee is paid directly to the team. The monthly fee may vary in different teams. With the team’s monthly fee, the practice conditions, tournament fees, coaches’ salaries and other expenses that are part of the team’s function are covered.

Collaboration with the authorities – Where to get help?

Support from your municipality

You can get financial help from the municipality that you live in. You can get the help from your own municipality’s aid. You get information about the service from the municipality’s website or from the social services office. Municipality’s aids are for example supplementary or preventive social assistance.

Support from FC Kontu or from the associations

FC Kontu has its own support fund. The support fund’s goal is to support the low-income players in the football club. The player’s guardian can ask about the support fund from the team’s team manager. There are also different kinds of associations that support children’s hobbies that include sports. One of them is SOS Lapsikylä Unelmista Totta.

Special circumstances

I want to quit playing football

If the player wants to quit playing football the guardian is required to inform the team leader through email. If the team has its own rules about quitting in the team the player and the guardian are required to follow them. All the unpaid bills have to be paid before quitting. The football club’s club fee and operating fee are not returned if the player quits in the team.

Long-term illness or injury

If the player gets injured and is forced to miss practice for a long period, they can get a release from the monthly fees on special occasions. These exceptions have to be always arranged separately with the team manager. The teams can have different rules and that is why it is important to take part in the team’s parents’ evening.
